We are pleased to announce that TECCON Austria, with its Passive Safety Centre, is now an official partner laboratory of ALEE – Alliance des laboratoires d’essai européenne GmbH.

ALEE is a technical service that brings together leading European testing laboratories with the aim of significantly advancing technological development and road safety through common standards, the highest quality standards and close cooperation.

As a new member of this strong alliance, we at TECCON are once again underlining our commitment to setting standards in passive vehicle safety. Our Passive Safety Centre stands for modern testing technologies, in-depth technical expertise and maximum precision – from prototype development to series approval.

ALEE offers the following services within the framework of EU type approval:

• Conducting tests in accredited testing laboratories
• Complete approval processing with the relevant authorities
• Creation of standard-compliant description folders
• Training courses for employees in the field of EU type approval

The partnership opens up additional synergies and new opportunities for our customers to benefit from a Europe-wide network of leading testing and development experts. This not only strengthens international networking, but also creates clear added value in terms of quality, efficiency and safety.

• Joint Expertise for Customers: TECCON and Calspan will now support their customers with their combined expertise in engineering and testing.

• Exclusive Distribution in North America: Calspan becomes the exclusive distributor for TECCON test systems in the USA and Canada.

• First-Level Support by Calspan: Calspan will provide first-level support for TECCON equipment in these markets, ensuring fast and local service.

A major advantage of this cooperation is that TECCON Austria has already delivered a universal impactor test system to Calspan. This means Calspan is highly familiar with the technology and, following comprehensive training, fully capable of delivering reliable first-level support to customers in North America.

The past months have been marked by intensive testing and evaluations. From analyzing individual components to the complex integration into the drone, we have gained valuable insights for the future – whether in flight physics, cooling, electronics, or functionality. This successful maiden flight marks a significant milestone in realizing our vision.

Now, we look ahead with great motivation to the upcoming test phases and the final stretch of the project. A huge thank you to our entire team at TECCON Consulting & Engineering GmbH for their passion, dedication, and innovative spirit, which made this project a reality.
