Drop tower
Our drop tower systems are versatile and efficient tools for testing materials and components in the field of passive safety. They are characterized by short set-up times, high accuracy and flexible application options. Tests can be carried out in different temperature ranges – heated or cooled components are also possible.
Areas of application:

FMH Wizard – Software tool for FMVSS 201U
In combination with a 3D measuring system, the TECCON FMH Wizard supports the precise determination of test points in accordance with the FMVSS 201U test procedure.

Mobile climate box
Our mobile climate box is used for preconditioning vehicles or sledges and is equipped with a powerful climate module. It offers precise and stable conditions for a wide range of test requirements.
Mobile barriers
Our Moving Barriers from the Passive Safety Center are specially developed for demanding crash and safety tests. All trolleys can be optionally equipped with deformable barriers, data acquisition systems and emergency brakes.
We offer configurations in accordance with FMVSS 214 and RCAR – reliable, precise and optimal for reproducible test results.

Low-speed crash system
Our Low Speed Crash System enables all relevant insurance tests to be carried out in accordance with the following regulations: RCAR, IIHS and GVR.
Technical data:
- Impact weight: 950 kg – 3,500 kg
- Impact speed: 5 km/h – 20 km/h (depending on configuration up to 32 km/h)
- Accuracy: ± 0.1 km/h
The system is used for insurance tests as well as for other load cases up to 32 km/h
(at 2.5 t). A particular advantage: it does not stress the high-speed crash track.
Bumper pendulum
Our fully automatic bumper pendulum offers maximum accuracy and user-friendliness for crash and impact tests. Thanks to automatic height adjustment, automatic speed calculation and automatic winding into the start position, tests are prepared quickly and efficiently. An integrated rebound protection system prevents unintentional second impacts.
The bumper pendulum combines maximum precision, repeatability and safety – ideal for reproducible and standard-compliant tests in the field of passive vehicle safety.
Static rollover test systems
Our static rollover test systems enable reliable and standard-compliant rollover tests for vehicles in accordance with international regulations such as FMVSS 208, FMVSS 301, FMVSS 305, ERA GLONASS, UN-R34 and GOST 34003. With semi-automatic and fully automatic positioning modes and predefined test cycles, precise and efficient execution is guaranteed. Our static rollover test systems stand for maximum safety, precise processes and flexible adaptation to different test requirements.
Head start measuring device
according to ECE R21 Annex 6
The protrusion measuring device is used to precisely determine the height of protrusions, such as switches, pull buttons or similar operating elements, within the defined reference range.
The device consists of a hemispherical measuring head and an integrated dial gauge indicator, which enables exact readings of the measured projection height. The robust design ensures stability and durability, while the intuitive handling supports user-friendly measurement.
The protrusion measuring device meets the requirements of ECE R21 Annex 6 and is ideal for standard-compliant testing of vehicle interiors for the height of switches, buttons and similar protruding controls.
